- 2 pounds beef stew meat
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ancho chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 15 ounces crushed tomatoes
- 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes
- 15 ounces black beans, drained and rinsed
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 jalapeño peppers, seeded and diced
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours.
Notes
Adjust the spiciness by adding more or fewer jalapeños.
For a thicker chili, let it cook uncovered for the last hour.
