- 2 lbs. cheap steaks
- 2 white or yellow onions, cut into circles
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 0.70 oz. Italian dressing mix packet
- 0.87 oz. brown gravy mix
- 1 ½ cups water
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
Instructions
- Place the steaks in the slow cooker and season with salt and pepper.
- Layer the onions and garlic over the steaks.
- In a small bowl, combine the gravy mix, Italian dressing, cornstarch, and water. Whisk until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the steaks in the slow cooker.
- Cook on LOW for 5-6 hours. Serve with your choice of sides.
Notes
For added flavor, consider marinating the steaks overnight before cooking.
Serve this dish with mashed potatoes or rice to soak up the delicious gravy.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
