Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs. cubed steak, about 6 pieces
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 2 oz. brown gravy mix, two 1 oz. packets
  • 21 oz. condensed golden mushroom soup, two 10.5 oz. cans
  • 1 ½ cup beef stock, or water
  • parsley for garnish, optional

Instructions

  1. Place the cubed steak in the slow cooker.
  2. Add the onion soup mix, brown gravy mix, and condensed mushroom soup over the steak.
  3. Pour the beef stock over all the ingredients and lightly mix everything together.
  4. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 6-7 hours until tender.
  5. Stir carefully and serve over your choice of egg noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and enjoy!

Notes

You can adjust the amount of cubed steak based on your needs (up to 2 lbs).
For a thicker sauce, you can add a cornstarch slurry during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
