Ingredients

  • 2 bunches collard greens
  • 4 oz package cooked bacon, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry collard greens thoroughly.
  2. Using a sharp knife, remove the stems from the collard greens.
  3. Loosely roll the greens and slice them into thick ribbons.
  4. Place the sliced greens into the slow cooker along with the remaining ingredients.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours.
