- 1 ½ lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts
- ½ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. pepper
- ½ tsp. oregano (or Italian Seasoning)
- 1 lb. penne pasta, cooked according to package directions
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Place the chicken in a 6-quart slow cooker and season with salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Pour the pasta sauce over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 6-8 hours, keeping the lid closed during cooking.
- Once cooked, prepare the penne pasta according to the package instructions.
- Shred the chicken using two forks while still in the slow cooker.
- Drain the cooked pasta and mix it into the slow cooker with the chicken and sauce.
- Spread the mixture into an even layer and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, covering for 15 minutes to allow the cheese to melt.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
