- 24 oz. raw peanuts in shells
- ½ cup sea salt
- 12 cups water
Instructions
- Pick through the peanuts and discard any broken shells. Wash the peanuts thoroughly.
- Add peanuts to the slow cooker along with the sea salt.
- Pour enough water to cover the peanuts, ensuring it's at least two inches above them without overflowing.
- Cook on high for 5-7 hours, checking for softness. Taste-test at 5 hours; if too crunchy, continue cooking.
Notes
Adjust salt to taste if you prefer them less salty.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to a week.
