Ingredients
Scale
- 3 ounces Strawberry Jell-O gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- ½ cup cold water
- ½ cup vodka
- 12 gummy eyeball candies
Instructions
- In a large bowl with a pour spout, combine the strawberry gelatin and boiling water. Whisk until completely dissolved.
- Add in the cold water and vodka, mixing well.
- Set out 12 (2-ounce sized) jello shot cups on a rimmed tray to avoid spills. Pour the strawberry jello mixture into each cup, leaving ⅛ inch space at the top.
- Refrigerate the tray for 1 to 1½ hours until the jello is partially set. Place a gummy eyeball candy atop each jello shot.
- Return the tray to the refrigerator for an additional 1½ hours or until fully set. Once set, place lids on the cups and keep them stacked in the fridge until ready to serve.
Notes
For a non-alcoholic version, replace vodka with an additional half cup of cold water.
Ensure the jello shot cups are securely placed in the refrigerator to avoid any spillage.
Experiment with different flavors of jello to match your party theme.
