- 16 oz. jar chunky salsa
- 8 oz cream cheese
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the taco seasoning evenly over the chicken.
- Pour the chunky salsa over the chicken, ensuring it is fully covered.
- Add the cream cheese on top of the salsa.
- Cover the slow cooker and set to low for 6 hours.
- After cooking, remove the lid, shred the chicken with two forks directly in the slow cooker.
- Mix until the cream cheese, chicken, and salsa are well combined and creamy.
- Serve with your choice of sides and toppings.
Notes
For a spicier version, choose a hot salsa.
Serve with tortilla chips or over rice for a complete meal.
