Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (14-ounce) bag coleslaw mix
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 3/4 teaspoon celery seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, add the coleslaw mix and sliced green onions, tossing them briefly to combine.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, dijon mustard, celery seeds, fine sea salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until everything is evenly coated.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the cabbage to soften.
- Before serving, give the coleslaw a quick toss and adjust the seasoning with additional salt, pepper, or vinegar as needed.
Notes
For extra crunch, consider adding shredded carrots or diced bell peppers to the mix.
Adjust the sweetness of the dressing by varying the amount of honey to suit your taste.
For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise.
