- ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Arrange the chicken breasts in a single layer in a large baking dish. Season generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and fresh basil. Stir in the halved cherry tomatoes, mixing gently until well combined.
- Spoon the cream mixture over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are well covered.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the chicken is no longer pink in the middle.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top and broil for 4-5 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with additional basil before serving.
Notes
Ensure the cream cheese is very soft to make mixing easier.
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in olive oil and seasonings before baking.
Feel free to add other vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for variety.
