- 2 lbs. bone-in pork chops
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- 1 ½ cups apple butter
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
- 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Place the pork chops into the slow cooker, seasoning them with salt and pepper.
- Spoon the apple butter over the pork chops evenly.
- Layer the sliced onion and apples on top of the pork chops, then drizzle with apple cider vinegar.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 4 hours, or on LOW for 7 hours without lifting the lid during cooking.
- Once done, serve hot and enjoy your meal!
Notes
For best flavor, use high-quality apple butter.
Feel free to substitute with other apple varieties if preferred.
Serve with a side of greens for a wholesome meal.
