Ingredients
Scale
- 20 glazed donut holes
- ¾ cup chocolate chips
- 10–20 pretzel sticks
- ¾ cup chocolate jimmies sprinkles
Instructions
- Break pretzel sticks in half if they are long, aiming for 10 pieces instead of 20.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a small microwave-safe bowl by heating in 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth.
- Pour chocolate sprinkles into a separate small bowl and place it nearby.
- Dip the top of each donut hole into the melted chocolate, coating the tip and scraping off excess with the bowl edge. Then, immediately dip into the sprinkles to adhere.
- Gently press a pretzel stick into the chocolatey end of each donut hole to create the acorn stem, being careful not to dislodge the sprinkles.
- Place each completed donut hole on a parchment-lined tray and repeat the process until all are finished.
- You can refrigerate or freeze them for 5 minutes to let the chocolate set, or enjoy them right away while they are still melty.
Notes
Use more or less chocolate chips based on your preference.
