Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 2–3 breasts)
- ½ cup lemonade concentrate (thawed)
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- ¼ tsp. red chili flakes
- ⅓ cup ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. light brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- parsley (optional garnish)
Instructions
- In the slow cooker, mix the lemonade concentrate, seasonings, ketchup, brown sugar, soy sauce, and cornstarch until well combined.
- Place the chicken into the slow cooker, ensuring to cover it with some of the sauce mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours. Stir the sauce prior to serving and garnish with parsley, if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for a couple of hours before cooking.
Serve with rice or salad for a complete meal.
Feel free to adjust the spice levels by adding more or less red chili flakes.
