Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 23 breasts)
  • ½ cup lemonade concentrate (thawed)
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp. red chili flakes
  • ⅓ cup ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp. light brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. In the slow cooker, mix the lemonade concentrate, seasonings, ketchup, brown sugar, soy sauce, and cornstarch until well combined.
  2. Place the chicken into the slow cooker, ensuring to cover it with some of the sauce mixture.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours. Stir the sauce prior to serving and garnish with parsley, if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for a couple of hours before cooking.
Serve with rice or salad for a complete meal.
Feel free to adjust the spice levels by adding more or less red chili flakes.
