Ingredients

  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (can be gluten-free or almond flour for lower carb)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 8 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Grease the liner of a 3 to 5-quart oval slow cooker.
  2. Peel and thinly slice the apples, then add them to the slow cooker.
  3. Toss the apple slices with cornstarch or tapioca flour until they are evenly coated.
  4. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the apple slices and mix with a spoon.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and mix until crumbly with a fork.
  6. Sprinkle the topping mixture evenly over the apple mixture.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
