- 3 lbs. sirloin
- 2–3 tbsp. cooking oil
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ tsp. red chili flakes
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- ¼ cup salted butter
Instructions
- Cut the sirloin into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and black pepper.
- Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak bites to the hot pan and sear until browned for about 3-4 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and red chili flakes.
- Pour the sauce over the steak bites and stir until well coated.
- Sprinkle cornstarch over the mixture and stir again to combine, cooking an additional minute.
- Add the butter to the pan and melt, stirring until the sauce thickens.
