- 42 oz lit'l smokies, three – 14 oz packages; any style
- 1 1/2 cups apple butter
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, add the lit'l smokies, apple butter, and barbecue sauce.
- Stir the ingredients well to combine them evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally until heated through.
Notes
You can adjust the sweetness by using more or less apple butter.
For a spicier version, consider adding hot sauce or diced jalapeños.
